Hi, I'm so glad you're here!
Thank you for considering me to photograph the people who matter most to you. Over the last 19 years, I have worked with over 400 families. I've had the wonderful experience to have many families come back year after year so I could document their ever growing and changing lives. To me, they aren't just clients, they are my friends.
I excited to meet you and create some beautiful images that you're family will look back on for years.
- 19+ Years of Experience
-
My desire to practice photography came after I graduated high school in 2006. I Went to Best buy with the money I had saved, looking to buy a camera. I began shooting with it the minute I got home and didn't ever really put it down. I learned the hard way, by reading the manual. Not very many photographers learn like that anymore. I guess I'm old school!
- Natural Edits
-
Have you noticed how some editing styles fade in and out of trend just as fast as skinny jeans? You need high quality images that don't go out of style. I edit photos in natural, true-to-life color, so they reflect the authenticity of the moment. I also remove blemishes and slightly fade wrinkles. I don't completely take them away because I still want you to look like you.
- Beautiful Locations
-
I have a list of over 20 stunning locations from Phoenix to San Tan Valley, and Northern AZ to the San Tan Mountains for you to choose from. There's pretty amazing scenery all over if you know where to look for it. Whether you like tall, green trees, mountain ranges, urban scenery, or my new home studio, we will find some place that you'll love.
- Easy Posing Prompts
-
I understand that it takes some time to get comfortable in front of the camera. I try to make it easy as possible when it comes to posing. If you're feeling it, just do what pops into your mind! If you have no idea what to do, I can fully demonstrate what I'd like you to do. The goal is for you to feel comfortable and natural so we can get some true to you shots!
- Great with Kids
-
I kind of hate to admit that I have plenty silly faces and noises to get those kids laughing. And maybe a fart joke or two for the boys. I can't believe I just admitted that! I've also sang Disney songs and danced like a ballerina to get the cutest toddlers to smile at me.
- Light and Fun
-
I light to keep the stress low, while having a fun environment. If the kids need a break, no big deal. We can take some other shots while they take a minute exploring the location, and they might even spot a wild bunny or two. A fun, lighthearted approach makes for beautiful, meaningful images that feel real and timeless!

ABOUT ME
I'm Jessica, born and raised in Arizona, Mom of 4, musician, artist, and I love to take pictures! The emotions that come with getting your photo taken are so real, and I love it!
I grew up in a family of musicians/artists. When I was a kid, I'd wake up to my Dad transforming the family room into a studio. Camera gear covering the whole kitchen table, umbrella flash in front of the couch, backdrop covering the TV center, computer chair in the middle of the room with a white silky fabric draped on top covering the faded blue seat underneath. I was always excited to see this, and I would run back to my room to get my prettiest Sunday dress on, along with earrings and a necklace. I'd brush my thick, wavy hair, smack some chapstick on my lips and would be ready to go.
I never had the desire to practice photography until I graduated high school in 2006. I Went to Best buy with the money I had saved, looking to buy a camera. I began shooting with it the minute I got home and didn't ever really put it down. The first picture I ever took was of my faucet in the bathroom sink.
These days, I find joy and fulfillment in capturing things that I would have been scared to do when I first started. Shooting with the bright sun, large weddings, fast toddlers, extended families, and so on. I want to keep learning and practicing new techniques so you get the best results.
While this is my business, it is also my creative outlet. I often find myself sorting through images with a big smile on my face because of the beautiful laughter I'm seeing in the images. That's what it's all about. That's why I keep doing this.
Basically, I'm just an average person, living a normal life with too many things to do, and too many messes to clean up.
